MTD for Income Tax across Multiple Companies

When meeting your Making Tax Digital for Income Tax (MTD IT) requirements, if your income and expenditure is recorded across several companies, KEYPrime currently does not support combining data from multiple companies into a single submission.


HMRC recognises that a single software package may not suit every taxpayer and permits the use of compatible software — defined as either an end-to-end solution or a combination of programs connected via bridging software.


If you wish to manage your own quarterly submissions, bridging software that connects digitally to KEYPrime may provide a solution.  We would recommend researching HMRC's list of compatible software to find an option that meets your needs.


Alternatively, if you work with an Accountant, they may be able to manage your MTD submissions on your behalf using their own compatible software, which could be the simplest solution depending on your circumstances.
